Papa Turney's is a Black-owned, family-run BBQ joint and live music venue right on Percy Priest Lake — where the hickory smoke drifts off the water and the blues play all night long. My name is Mike Turney, but everyone just calls me Papa.

We had our son's graduation party here, and Mr. Turney was a wonderful host. Our family loved the food, especially the fish and fries, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, and bologna BBQ sandwiches. Awesome place right in the marina, offers inside and outside sitting. Food is good, price is right and service is outstanding. Nice friendly and accommodating people. Big parking lot, great views of the lake, good music.
